Attend an exclusive screening of Our Daily Bread to benefit New York City's Food Systems Network

This looks like an interesting and informative event with the added bonus of benefiting Food Systems Network NYC, a collaborative, action-oriented membership body whose mission is to promote food systems that:

Support improved nutrition and public health

Increase access by all to safe and wholesome food

Strengthen and expand the regional farm and food economy

From FSNYC

Join us Thursday, March 27th at 6:00 pm for an exclusive viewing of Our Daily Bread, a riveting documentary about our globalized food chain. Joan Gussow, Professor Emeritus, Teachers College Columbia University and author of This Organic Life will lead a discussion about the issues raised by mechanized, mass- produced agriculture afterwards. Followed by an additional late screening for the night owls in our foodie flock.

Pre-Screening Refreshments will be provided by some of our favorite NY
chefs, farmers, and vintners--think globally and eat locally!

Proceeds from this event will support the FSNYC mission. Buy tickets today!
